Johnny Depp Interview Discusses How Disney Was Worried Jack Sparrow Was Gay

Depp, who made a flamboyant portrayal of Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean”, talked about it in an interview for the January 2011 edition of Vanity Fair magazine. Depp said Disney “couldn’t stand” his Sparrow impression. Walt Disney Adopts Hijab Costume for Muslim Employee

The Walt Disney company has designed a hijab costume for a Muslim employee who had been banned from wearing a full headpiece.  The female employee is to be given a specially created headscarf, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations.  Officials at the park decided to work with Noor Abdallah, 22, who was originally told she was banned from wearing the hijab while at a Disneyland Resort ticket booth.  The Disney company came up with […]
