Missoula Mac, Inc., the owner and franchisee of 25 McDonald’s restaurants, has agreed to pay $1,000,000 to resolve a class sexual harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Howard University in the District of Columbia has been charged with violating federal law when it refused to hire an applicant for a security position at its hospital because of his disability, diabetes. The EEOC filed a lawsuit against Howard University, founded in 1862, and a private, historically black university.
