Discrimination inaction by Obama claimed by Gay rights activists

Gay rights activists are claiming inaction by Obama’s decision not to sign an executive order which would ban workplace discrimination of gay, lesbian and transgender federal contractors.  Gay activists believe the move was politically calculated.    The proposed Executive Order would have prohibited federal contractors from discriminating against employees based on sexual orientation. Terry Branstad, Iowa Governor, Slapped With $1 Million Sexual Discrimination Lawsuit

Commissioner Christopher Godfrey is demanding $1 million in compensation Iowa Governor Terry Branstad asked him to resign and later cut Godfrey’s salary after he refused. Boy Scout Den Leader Dismissed for Being a Lesbian

An Ohio den leader has been dismissed by her local Boy Scout troop for being a lesbian.  Jennifer Tyrrell has removed her 7-year-old son, Cruz, from participating in the Scouts.  Tyrell is disappointed her son will no longer be a Boy Scout, however, Tyrell will not support an organization that doesn’t support her family.  Tyrrell is now engaged in a campaign with Change.org, a left-leaning political group, to raise awareness of the policy of the […]

Danny Evins, founder of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, passed away on January 14, 2012, at the age of 76. Evins sparked controversy in 1991 after he defended a company directive to fire employees “whose sexual preferences fail to demonstrate normal heterosexual values.”
