Philadelphia swim club discrimination case settled

The Justice Department announced a settlement agreement in a Philadelphia-area racial discrimination case. The case dates back to June 2009. Creative Steps Day Camp of Northeast Philadelphia paid The Valley Swim Club in Huntingdon Valley for pool access for summer campers. “Matrix” Director Reveals Transition to becoming a woman

The director of “The Matrix” is the first famous Hollywood director to publicly reveal himself as transgender person. His new name is now Lana Wachowski which she revealed was done during the filming of her most recent movie “Cloud Atlas”. Apple Takes Down 'gay cure' App

Apple recently removed a “gay cure” application that has been criticized by many.  The application was created by Exodus International which targeted “homosexual strugglers” and allows users to learn more about Exodus.  The creators maintain that people have a choice to be gay.  However, the app was removed at the Apple Store because Apple believes it violates developer guidelines as being offensive to large groups of people.  See: Currently, discrimination and harassment based on […]
