In-N-Out Burger sued for race discrimination in hiring

A class action lawsuit was filed in California alleging that the popular In-N-Out burger chain discriminates against people of color. The lawsuit claims that certain individuals are being discriminated against by their age, race and or color. The action was brought by two African American men over the age of 40. Philadelphia swim club discrimination case settled

The Justice Department announced a settlement agreement in a Philadelphia-area racial discrimination case. The case dates back to June 2009. Creative Steps Day Camp of Northeast Philadelphia paid The Valley Swim Club in Huntingdon Valley for pool access for summer campers. The upcoming presidential convention will see a platform by the Democratic Party to discuss gay marriage. This platform will be about supporting marriage equality. “Matrix” Director Reveals Transition to becoming a woman

The director of “The Matrix” is the first famous Hollywood director to publicly reveal himself as transgender person. His new name is now Lana Wachowski which she revealed was done during the filming of her most recent movie “Cloud Atlas”. Howard University Failed to Hire Applicant Due to His Disability

Howard University in the District of Columbia has been charged with violating federal law when it refused to hire an applicant for a security position at its hospital because of his disability, diabetes. The EEOC filed a lawsuit against Howard University, founded in 1862, and a private, historically black university.
