Poverty Reports Released Show an Increase in America’s Poor

They are considered to be the “newly poor.”  This is the 4.8 million people in America who joined the poverty rank last year.  In America, to be considered poor,  an individual must have made less than $22,000 in annual income for a family of four.  Americans who hadn’t quite reached the middle class yet who were above the poverty line, are now experiencing poverty, as the US unemployment rate remains stagnant above 9 percent.  The […]
