Gay Marriage is the Democratic Party Platform

The upcoming presidential convention will see a platform by the Democratic Party to discuss gay marriage. This platform will be about supporting marriage equality. Discrimination inaction by Obama claimed by Gay rights activists

Gay rights activists are claiming inaction by Obama’s decision not to sign an executive order which would ban workplace discrimination of gay, lesbian and transgender federal contractors.  Gay activists believe the move was politically calculated.    The proposed Executive Order would have prohibited federal contractors from discriminating against employees based on sexual orientation.
