NYC steakhouse settles male-on-male sexual harassment case

Sparks, the well-known New York City steakhouse reached a $600,000 settlement of a male-on-male sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The EEOC said 22 male waiters at Spark were subjected to harassment based on their sex, chiefly by one male manager, over a nearly eight-year period. Hempstead Justice Accuses Mayor of Sexual Harassment

The Hempstead Mayor and the Hempstead Justice have begun a heated battle and have called for each other’s resignation. Village Justice Tanya Hobson-Williams alleges that Hempstead Mayor Wayne Hall Sr. sexual harassed her and tried to intimidate her. Hall has accused Hobson-Williams of judicial misconduct. NYU dental school lawsuit by former student to avail civil rights

A former honors student who attended NYU’s dental school sued the academic institution claiming that she had to meet a $38,000 quota in clinical work in order to earn her degree, in addition to having to invest in more classes to graduate. Chinese university stirs controversy for demanding nipple distance in beauty pageant

In China, a beauty contest aimed at crowning 10 university students is being criticized for demanding that the pageant models meet a nipple spacing requirement in which candidates have to have nipples spaced at least 20 centimeters (7.8 inches) apart.
