Model aimed to Help Indian Tribes Fight against Discrimination

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has set forth a model plan to help Indian tribes partner with the EEOC in an effort to combat employment discrimination. The model is called the Model Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This memo can be entered into by EEOC District Offices and individual Indian tribes. Each MOU allows the EEOC and the individual tribe to coordinate investigations, share information and provide training to end employment discrimination.
