Britney Spears settles with ex-bodyguard who sued her for sexual harassment

Britney Spears has settled a lawsuit with Fernando Flores. Flores filed a lawsuit claiming Spears flashed her genitals to him. Flores stated the pop star would intentionally drop a lighter in his presence, bend over to pick it up and “thereby expose her uncovered genitals.” In addition, Flores stated Spears abused her children. $2.75 Million from WRS Compass for Victims of Race Harassment at Clean-Up Site

A Tampa-based environmental clean-up company has agreed to pay $2.75 million to resolve a race discrimination case brought the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The lawsuit charged that WRS Environment and Infrastructure, Inc. (d/b/a WRS Compass) subjected seven black workers at its Lake Calumet, Illinois, site to a racially hostile work environment. TSA orders retraining in wake of recent racial profiling in Newark airport

After reports surfaced of racial profiling at airports in Newark, Honolulu and Boston, the Transportation Security Administration is ordering refresher training for behavior detection workers at 161 airports. In addition, the TSA is reviewing training, data collection and other elements of the nationwide program. Puyallup Truck Dealership Sued by EEOC for National Origin and Sexual Harassment

A Puyallup, Wash., used-truck dealership violated federal law when its general manager engaged in ongoing harassment targeting a Filipino American male employee. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a lawsuit against the company. According to the EEOC, the male supervisor aimed demeaning comments at Northwest Motorsport’s Internet marketing manager, Bayani Salcedo, for many month. Philadelphia swim club discrimination case settled

The Justice Department announced a settlement agreement in a Philadelphia-area racial discrimination case. The case dates back to June 2009. Creative Steps Day Camp of Northeast Philadelphia paid The Valley Swim Club in Huntingdon Valley for pool access for summer campers.
