Manhattan VA Hospital helps women

In response to the alarming number of female veterans who have been sexually assaulted during tours of duty, Dr. Nancy Lutwak has launched a relief mission at the Manhattan VA Hospital. Dr. Lutwak has opened a female-only emergency room at the Manhattan VA Hospital to treat female veterans posttraumatic syndrome. In Nashville, TN, a Public Schools employee, Betty Russell, 62, is suing the system. She claims the school offered a position for which she was a candidate to a younger and less qualified employee-allegedly awarded based on “favoritism or some other consideration.”

Four More Women File Suit Against American Apparel CEO Dov Charney

Less than a month after ex-employee Irene Morales sued American Apparel CEO Dov Charney for sexual harassment, four women are banding together in a similar lawsuit.  Onetime worker and model, Kimbra Lo, has come forward to claim sexual harassment during a meeting in his bedroom.
