Geno Auriemma sued for discrimination

In New York, Kelley Hardwick, who is working as an NBA security official has filed an employment discrimination lawsuit. Detroit Healthcare Center to Pay $35,000 in Religious Discrimination Lawsuit

In Detroit, Michigan, the Whitehall Healthcare Center of Ann Arbor is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility which was sued for religious discrimination. The lawsuit was brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the center will pay $35,000 to settle the suit. Senate Republicans block pay equity bill

Democrats attempted to pass a bill that was designed to ensure that women will not face pay discrimination. The bill was blocked Tuesday by Republicans who complained that the bill was politically inspired and would reward trial lawyers at the expense of employers.
