Johns Hopkins Home Health Care to settle Disability Discrimination suit

In Baltimore, Maryland, the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, Inc, is going to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) because it failed to make a reasonable accommodation for her disability, and was retaliated against by the employer.  Ellen Fisher, a registered nurse, was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2009, and in order to return to work she needed reasonable accommodation with limited restrictions.  However, the employer […]
