Newport News Shipyard and Contractor Will Pay $80,000 to Settle EEOC Retaliation Suit

Huntington Ingalls, Inc., the present owner of the shipyard in Newport News, Virginia, and its contractor Quality Coatings of Virginia, Inc. of Chesapeake, Va., has agreed to settle a lawsuit for retaliation filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
